WILLIAM ROBINSON – Born January 25, 1760 in York County, PA. Enlisted 1777 in Mecklenburg County, NC under Capt. John Alexander, Col. Adam Alexander, Col. Davidson under whom he saw service.
He married in Mecklenburg County, NC, Sarah. He died on June 30, 1837 in Buncombe County, NC and his wife died on February 7, 1843 in Buncombe County. They had the following children: Mary Robinson born 1786 married Thomas Foster, Elizabeth Robinson married David Duckett, Alexander Robinson, Isabella Robinson married William Peoples, Vilate Robinson married Nathaniel Jones, Rebecca Robinson married David Mullins, George Robinson born 1795.
