Emily N. Polk’s Last Will and Testament
In the name of GOD, Amen.
I, Emily N. Polk of the City of Baltimore and the State of Maryland being of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding do make ordain and publish this last will and testament in manner and form following … unto my friend and cousin by marriage … to my children, Hamilton R. Polk, George B. Polk, Leonidas Polk, N. Beach Polk … my deceased son, Frank D. Polk …appoint C. Hopewell Warner.
In testamony [sic] whereof, I, the said, Emily N. Polk have hereunto set my hand and affixed seal this 22nd day of October 1901.
