I, Calib Johnston of the aforesaid County and State and being of sound mind and memory but considering the uncertainty of earthly existence do make publish and declare this my last will and testament … to my son, Henry Johnston … my sons, Law and Paul Johnston … to my grandson, Paul Johnston … Cole Washington … H. B. Brown appointed as guardian of my grandson.
In testimony whereof, I hereunto set my hand and affix my seal, this the 1st day of May 1899.
