“p. 118. I Shadrick Hyatt, being of sound & perfect mind and memory. This 25 Nov. 1845. After paying all my just debts & funeral expense I give unto my beloved wife Mary all that tract of land on which I now live containing 114 acres during her natural life or widowhood and after her death to be equally divided between Anna Hyatt & Neoma Hyatt to share & share alike during their life or marriage and in that case I give unto my grand-son Tobe Hyatt to have forever. I give unto my son Robert Hyatt a tract of land containing 100 acres adjoining the land I now live on the North side forever. I give unto my son Shadrick Hyatt a tract of land lying on Kitle branch where he now lives forever. I give to my son Peter G. Hyatt a tract of land adjoining the land where I now live on to the East forever. I give unto my wife all my farming tools to wit: plows, hoes, mattocks & axes & I direct my executors after my wife death to divide all the tools equally amongst all my chn. I also give my wife all household & kitchen furniture, two feather beds and furniture during her natural life or widowhood then to be divided among my chn. I also give my beloved wife one sorrel horse named Ball with all my stock of cattle, hogs & sheep and poltry[sic] of every kind during her natural life or widowhood & at her decease to be equally divided among my chn. I also give my son John Hyatt one bay mare forever. I also give my son Shadrick one set of blacksmith tools forever. I also give my son-in-law James H. Pendland my cross cut saw forever.
I hereby make & ordain my friend James H. Pendland executor.
