Volunteer Orientation Meeting

Our Volunteer Orientation Meeting will be held 10:00 – 11:00 am
This will be the first of two sessions. In this first session you will learn a little about our history and how we are organized. You may not realize that OBCGS has been around for 44 years. Many of our early volunteers are no longer living but their dedication provided great benefit to so many. We will also look at the important role of the Library Docent. In the next session our Librarian, Stella Taylor, will acquaint you with the many resources in our library and how to use them.
Attending does not mean you commit to being a volunteer, but you just may find an area of interest. Monday, November 11th is Veterans Day, a federal holiday, so parking should not be a problem.
