March Program – “Using Deeds and Land Records in Your Historical Research” Presented by Karon Korp

March 23 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

One of the richest resources available to researchers are the county records for land purchases, transfers, and plat maps. Learning how to use these readily available and accessible tools will be the subject of Karon Korp’s discussion on March 23rd at 2:00pm. As a local real estate agent with Asheville Realty Group, Karon frequently researches property ownership and its history on behalf of her clients, and her focus for the talk will be to provide helpful tips for navigating the various searches to dig deeper into the past.
