TOPIC – “AI Genealogy: The Basics and a Bit Beyond: How we got here, where we’re at, and where we’re going”

SPEAKER – Steve Little, AI Program Director at the National Genealogical Society (NGS)

Steve will trace AI’s journey from early developments to its revolutionary impact in 2023. He will explore the fascinating interplay of genealogy, technology and language and how AI tools, like GPT-4, are changing genealogical research and analysis. Steve will highlight the practical applications, ethical considerations, and the ongoing journey of mitigating AI’s limitations. Both new and seasoned genealogists can expect to gain insights into both the triumphs and challenges faced in integrating AI into genealogy.

The April Webinar will be held ON ZOOM and IN THE LIBRARY. You can watch the program on your computer in the comfort of your own home or come to the library and watch on our big screen computer. If you want to watch on your own computer, you must register for the link.
