Benedict of Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make publish and declare this to be my codicil to my last will and testament hereinafter executed by me on the 9th day of May in the year of our Lord 1894 … to my wife, Mary E. Benedict … to Gertrude H. Steele and Helen B. Steele daughter of my deceased niece, Helen B. Steele of Galesburg, Illinois and to my nephew, Walter N. Benedict of Jacksonville, Florida …
In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name on this the 15th day of June in the year of our Lord, 1896.
